University of California Riverside - UC Riverside offers offers a student teaching and internship programs in Mild/Moderate Specialist and Moderate/Severe Specialist Credentials. Entrance requirements are similar for both but an internship requires verfied experience in special education classroom. A general education credential (multiple or single subject) is no longer required. Interns earn their credential while in a full-time teaching position with a collaborating school district.
