Duties: We have an immediate opening for a Part-Time Early Interventionist to provide service coordination and special instruction for infants and toddlers in the Spartanburg area. As an EI, you can look forward to: Developing Individualized Family Service Plans; Coordinating intervention services and acting as liaison for children (birth - 5), their families, and service providers; Helping families identify and manage concerns, developing plans and strategies to meet their needs.
Qualifications: Education requirements: Bachelor's degree in early childhood education, early childhood special education, elementary education, special education, human services or allied health services from an accredited institution. Experience requirements: At least two (2) years’ related experience. Experience should include 1 or more of the following: 1 year in early childhood education, 1 year working with infants and toddlers, OR 1 year with children age birth to 5 with disabilities. Required knowledge and skills: Extensive knowledge of child development; strong computer, organizational and communication skills. Ability to work independently. Licensures and certifications: Must have valid driver’s license and auto insurance. Prior to first assignment, must have First Aid and Infant CPR certifications.
