Then you need to consider becoming an O&M Specialist at Miami Lighthouse for the Blind in Miami, Florida. Miami Lighthouse is looking for an O&M Specialist to be responsible for developing and implementing individualized lesson plans for each client in learning concepts, equipment and materials, skills and techniques essential to meeting the client’s goals.
Qualifications: The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Orientation and Mobility or related field; Certified Orientation and Mobility Specialist (COMS) or eligible for certification in Orientation and Mobility and become certified within one year of employment.
