Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing

Duties: This temporary position is available starting middle to late March. Transition time from current employee to temporary employee is included. Position continues until approximately beginning to middle of May. Apply theories, philosophies, and models of practice to the education of students who are deaf and/or hearing impaired. Administer appropriate assessment tools, gather and analyze communication samples from student’s nonverbal and linguistic acts. Modify the instructional process and classroom environment to meet the physical, cognitive, cultural, and communication behavior of students. Itinerant position.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree. Master’s preferred. Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction License #805/Hearing Disabilities or the ability to obtain one. Current drivers license.
