Teacher for the Visually Impaired

Duties: Provide direct services to students who are visually impaired, consult with staff, conduct evaluations and write reports, attend meetings, IEP meetings, consult with parents, interface with community service providers, attend training, collaborate with other professionals, and perform other assigned duties.
Qualifications: BA or BS degee of higher and certification as an Orientation and Mobility Specialist. Experience teaching students with visual impairments in a
school setting is preferred. The specialist must have knowledge in conducting evaluations and writing reports. The specialist must be knowledeable of the expanded core curriculum.
Additional Information: Humble, TX is a suburban area located just north of the Houston metropolitan area. The community has major shopping areas, great restaurants, golf courses galore, country clubs, churches, and easy access to downtown Houston theatre district.
