Teacher of the Blind and Visually Impaired

Duties: Conduct Functional Vision Evaluations and develop educational plans for children ages Birth to 6. Provide direct vision services and consultation for children in a Center-based environment as well as in the child's natural environment. Consult with members of multidisciplinary teams to incorporate vision strategies and goals into the child's daily routine.
Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Education from a four year college or university, with specialization as a teacher of the visually impaired.
Additional Information: Dual certification in O&M is a "plus."
