Rehabilitation Teacher

Duties: The instructor must be able to assess and instruct all areas of Rehabilitation Teaching, complete necessary paperwork in a timely manner. Computer access training a plus. Complete agency requirements in first aid and CPR. Instruction provided both center-based and itinerent settings. Dually certified individual would be strongly considered for the position.

Qualifications: Instrutor must have valid drivers license and dependable authomobile. Masters in BLind Rehabilitation and AER Certified and ACVREP. AER dues paid by agency also. Position requires mature individual who is self-motivated and able to think on their feet. Great deal of flexability in clients, areas of teaching, teaching schedule. Not always a 8-4:30 job, but can be as you complete your own teaching schedule. Be able to travel in serveral counties of northern Indiana (and different time zones)Experienced, and able to easily work with variety of personalities, and good rapport with State Vocational Rehab Services. If individual resides in Indiana will have less travel time for job, but not a requirement. Reports to Blind Services Director.

Additional Information: Salary is dependent upon experience. Mileage is reimbursed. Excellent benefits.
