School Psychologist, School for the Deaf
Colorado School for the Deaf and the Blind
Colorado Springs, CO
Duties: This position reports to the Director of Special Education, and is responsible for the psychological, educational, developmental, social, and emotional assessment of children, birth to age 21 who are Deaf / hard-of-hearing, and who may have other disabilities.
Qualifications: Specialist Degree in School Psychology, or Master’s Degree in Psychology from an accredited college or university; Must hold or be eligible for appropriate educator licensure in the State of Colorado as a Special Services Provider, endorsed in School Psychology; Three (3) years of successful experience in assessment and service provision to children with sensory disabilities. Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) at the Advanced skill level as demonstrated by an appropriate assessment tool and according to school policy.
