This year's National
Family Conference promises to be a wonderful event for families from all across the
country, as the theme for this year's conference is "Families Connecting with
Families". The conference will take place on Friday, August 12th through Sunday
August 14th, 2005, and it's being held in beautiful Louisville, Kentucky at the lovely
Galt House Hotel, the only hotel on the waterfront in Louisville. We are once again planning a variety of workshops for
parents. This year's keynote speakers include Kevin O'Connor, Dr. Deborah Hatton, and
motivational speakers Henry Wyanoke and Jim Vargo. (Click on the Speakers button for more info on all of
our speakers!) Conference threads will cover the needs of children and young adults from
birth to employment, including children and young adults with additional impairments.
There will be opportunities for families to network and share experiences, too.
