The NASA Johnson Space Center Learning Technologies Project has developed an
affordable information retrieval tool called ILIAD
that can be easily used by the blind to search the Internet. The text
version of ILIAD is email based and can be used with DOS screen readers.

Subject: start iliad (that's it, no message in the body) and ILIAD will send
you instructions.
JBliss Imaging Systems is
developing a low vision browser for the blind and visual impaired. Currently
