brctr - Technical list devoted to the discussion of the advancement and future of Braille
brailletech - Provides a foundation for the discussion of Braille-based and Braille-related hardware and/or software technologies
braille-l - A list devoted to the promotion of Braille literacy
books/reading list - Topics include braille, audio, large print, moon type, and other print alternatives; favorite narrators and books; copyright and access issues relating to books and printed materials; as well as anything else related to books by and for the blind and visually impaired.
blind-x - Cross postings of information, for sale items, questions and answers, product information, belly aching and complaining, helps and tips, software, the pros and cons of anything blind related, where to find the best talking watch or web sight, and just about anything else one might wish to discuss is more than welcome on blind-x. Not an open list, so you must contact Phil Scovell at philscov@netcom.com for subscription information. bsports - Topics may range from announcements of upcoming tournaments, how to make sports more accessible to the blind, results from tournaments and events, sports training camps, and any other related topics.
blindlaw - A place where individuals and organizations can ask legal questions and members of the National Association of Blind Lawyers to stay in contact with each other and other blind attorneys. A project of the National Association of Blind Lawyers (NABL), a division of the National Federation of the Blind.
basr-l - A professional mailing list for the discussion of blind web access issues. Aims at promoting dialogue between blind individuals, web professionals, adaptive technology industry professionals, software developers, and other individuals interested in improving blind people's access to the web.
bcab - A list of the British Computer Association of the Blind. Membership in BCAB is not, however, a prerequisite for subscribing to this list. Promote the special needs and interests of the visually impaired who either work in the computing field or have an active interest in computing.
blindjob - A list promoting the discussion on any and every aspect of employment as it relates to blind people
rplist - An international RP forum participated by more than 600 individuals who are RP patients, ophthalmologists, optometrists, etc.
vi-out - A list for researchers and practitioners interested in research about any non-medical aspect of blindness and visual impairment
oandm - A list for the discussion of topics related to Orientation and Mobility
rt-l - A list that discusses issues pertaining to Rehabilitation Teaching
blindnews - A list that deals with issues of people who are visually impaired
blind-l - A list that discusses computer use by and for people who are blind
deafblnd - The topic of this list is Deaf-Blindness. The purpose of this list is to share information, inquiries, ideas and opinions on matters pertaining to Deaf-Blindness. This list is open to professionals, persons who are deaf-blind, and to their families and friends.
blindfam - A list for the discussion of all aspects of family life as affected by blindness

dvh-s - The list of the Student Committee of the Division on Visual Handicaps (DVH) of the Council for Exceptional Children (CEC). Its purpose is to provide individuals enrolled in university programs in the area of visual impairment with a forum for discussion.
service-dogs - The service dogs mailing list
access - A list dedicated to closed-captioning, audio description, and other Media Access issues. The Media Access list will entertain all manner of discussion related to those topics, including: reports of good -- and bad -- captioning, technology issues, and "nuts-and-bolts" questions.

aernet - List for discussion and interaction among Visual Handicap professionals
brl-help - Discussion group to promote discussion and share ideas about Braille instruction

NHBlind-Talk - A list for the sharing of information and discussion of issues, events, and resources affecting people in New Hampshire with visual impairment.
