Duties: Itinerant position working with students with multiple disabilities, as well as students in regular education classrooms. Provide instruction to visually impaired pupils. Diagnose individual learning problems. Maintain pupils' records consistent with State and Federal regulations.
Qualifications: Must possess or be eligible for appropriate New York State Teacher Certification as Teacher of the Blind / Partially Sighted. Orientation and Mobility certification is desired, but not required.
