Duties: The Low Vision Clinic Coordinator will be responsible for organizing and managing the NMSBVI-Access to Learning Low Vision Clinics throughout the state of New Mexico. In addition, the Low Vision Clinic Coordinator will be responsible for fund raising and grant writing to support the clinic. The position of Outreach Itinerant Teacher requires travel, assessment, consultation services, and some direct service to students with visual impairments in their community and home schools.
Qualifications: This position is a dual certification, O&M/TVI position. Must be eligible for certification in New Mexico and must meet NMSBVI’s Braille proficiency requirement.
